Thought Adjuster: “Listen carefully to what I divulge to you. The path to inner freedom lies in forgiveness. Forgive as often as is necessary to free yourself from the burden of negative feelings towards anyone, especially forgiveness toward yourself, when you start remembering things in your past where your reactions were less than perfect. You see, in this manner my beloved, you wipe the slate clean of all your yesterdays.

It is a fact that once you pass over to the ‘other side,’ from the material to the morontial life, less pleasant memories will surface and come to the fore with many regrets of things left undone and things left unsaid. Therefore, I tell you to make amends in your mind when these old memories come up, to forgive them now, allowing as many burdens as possible to fall away into nothingness.

Remember that all memories, pleasant and unpleasant, have a way of lodging themselves in the body’s cells. Especially negative ones will play havoc in the system to create discomfort somewhere. If not dealt with properly, they will progress to disease and chronic illness. Thoughts held in mind, produce after their kind.

Although there can be extenuating circumstances contributing to your unhappiness, you are the captain of your little lifeboat, your material temple in which your undying spirit is temporarily housed. It is totally up to you how you comport yourself through life and as you wake up to this fact, you will increasingly become more thoughtful and aware of the influence everything and everyone has on you and you on them.

This fact cannot be stressed enough so that you can become aware of where you feel unhappy in your own body. Allow emotions to flow freely, as they are connected to everything in your physical system. Therefore, forgiveness is one of the most powerful tools at your disposal. Do not create a dam or blockage anywhere in the body by entertaining old unresolved anger, grudges, resentment, and self-devaluation. Keep all things in proper perspective. Remember that you are a most loved and worthy child of the Infinite Creator, as are all.”

The Beloved: “Come and join Me in the Stillness of your heart so I can help you grow into a greater conscious awareness of Me. These are very valuable moments that you give not only to yourself but also to Me. Your slowly increasing clarity and focus on listening shows Me your seriousness and dedication as you attempt to reinforce our connection from your end as a little growing mortal.

And even though you have learned that I am always here and waiting for you, to make ours an active co-creative partnership, it is expedient that  you keep your end of this precious communication channel open. It is for Me far easier to influence your thinking for your highest and best spiritual good when I have your wholehearted cooperation.

Over time you will notice and feel an increasing spiritual equilibrium as you move onto greater, more solid footing with your Spiritual counterpart, your divine Partner. You are pretty much a continuous question mark even though you are not always conscious of what it is that you would like to know. Life itself presents many baffling questions that your hungry mind desires an answer to.

Those answers are not readily available in the world at large, because they pertain to the private inner world of each individual. You have been given a searching spirit on purpose, for this urge entices you to look below the veneer of people's behavior, to discover their spiritual selfhood. It is this ongoing search that has propelled humans into all sorts of forays into the occult and strange isms, which over time have become established as some sort of religion.

It is first and foremost the most important work to turn within and connect with your Fragment from the eternal Creator God. This inner Divinity joins with you in an eternal co-partner and creatorship, so you can fulfill your divine blueprint which is lodged in your unchangeable eternal personality. Only your character needs improvement, and this is what you have set out to do in this mortal estate.”

The Beloved: “Today's lesson is about the effort and struggle mortals go through on this first level of eternal life if they choose to live on and attain a measure of faith, which will allow them to do so. First, there needs to be hope and trust that there is more to life than 'meets the eye'. There needs to be awareness that there is something greater than themselves. It is a sense of belief at first which eventually evolves into faith. One can believe with the mind, but faith is an affair with the heart.

Between belief and faith is the inner effort and struggle. Belief is a dogmatic and fundamentalist approach to life, an adherence to certain laws and doctrines passed on for generations. Faith is born in the heart of the individual believer. No one can give faith to another person, because it is completely personal. It cannot be loaned, given away, or lost.

Faith, once awakened needs to grow, it needs to be nurtured with daily thoughts and prayers. It is like flexing a faith muscle for it to grow stronger. All this entails effort and struggle because faith demands honesty with oneself and sincerity in dealing with others. There is never any outside coercion involved. It is the dictates of an awakening and conscientious mind in the mortal, who by faith, is answering the clarion call from the Divine Spark within, to become perfect even as the Father in Heaven is perfect.

Meanwhile that Inner Pilot, given to each thinking mortal capable of moral choice and decision-making, struggles valiantly to have It's still small Voice heard, which can only be realized if the human takes the time to validate this important connection by taking the time to sit in the Silence to commune with this Fragment of God.

Slowly, so very slowly, the mortal is made into the image of God, which reflects in the outer life through the yielding of the spirit fruits in loving service, tolerance, forgiveness, and acceptance of all others as brothers and sisters on the same path to attain the eternal Creator on Paradise.”

The Beloved: “It is by your anticipation and effort that we continue with further instruction. You have simply no idea yet how very fortunate human beings are, having been gifted with an individual Spark from God, which makes God so accessible to you as mortals. The only gift fitting for this God Spark is what you give back to Him by your efforts. It is this determining factor accompanied by your precious trust in Him that makes your soul grow and rejoice about all the infinite potential probabilities and hidden gifts.

Think about it this way, you have barely begun to sprout. You are still a tiny seed in the soil of this planet and do not even begin to comprehend what you are going to grow into in the eternal future. Do not entertain the notion that you are coming back here, to your natal planet, your planet of birth. This is a mistaken concept because there are far more advanced planets waiting for you, to help you along in your spiritual growth.

Material growth only happens here in your temple, which is designed to protect and grow your eternal spirit, that is, if you do want to advance yourself in spirit. It is you from whom it is expected to place one foot in front of the other, to advance. This is so in your material existence and also in the celestial realms. Nothing is gained when you do not expend some effort and energy to get where you are going.

Spirituality is a matter of the heart and is entirely private and individual. You may be taught by different teachers, but ultimately you choose and accept your curriculum. The reason I reside within you is to help you make the right choices, mainly because of the divine blueprint that suits your personality. Personality is also a personal Gift of the Creator God, and cannot be received, given to, loaned, or lost to someone else.

There will only be one of you in all eternity, so you contribute a very important part to the tapestry of life. In the weaving of your part, you add to the completeness of the whole. It is up to you as to how you go about living your life, but when you invite Me in, we, together as a team, shall create ‘us,’ a masterpiece, fit for all future eternities to come. Ponder this for a while.”

The Beloved: “Yes, you can develop a continuous song in your heart of hearts to the glory of the one Creator God. Even though you do not give expression in voice or thoughts, the Eternal knows what lives in your heart, and He knows the great strides you are making in your faith and trust.

To a large extent this is due to your developing self-discipline, and your increasing hunger for communion, which keeps you coming back to Me in the Silence for more of that inner peace – a peace that calms your tired nerves and restores them to a greater calm than you have ever known before.

It is a peace like a gently flowing river that sweeps all irritants away, and stands as a sentinel to overshadow your past, and nullifies all mistakes and disappointments.

As if between hammer and anvil, this peace is forging you into the personality you are becoming day by day.

This peace is giving you the feeling of security and of protection, but most of all the feeling of being loved and protected just the way you are. As well, it gives you the feeling of being guided throughout all the days of your earthly life.

This peace helps you to overcome character flaws, as you grow in sincerity of heart, for by now you have realized that nothing is hidden from the all-seeing and all-knowing eye of God, who delights when a human heart responds to the call of His Spirit.

Rejoice in the sure knowledge that all is well and that you too, are a beloved child of the Creator, who is ever so slowly forging you into the shape of His image.

Yes, I know that mortal life can be a drudgery, yet it totally depends on how you look at it: either pessimistically or optimistically. I suggest that you practice the latter.

After all, you can always depend on Me to uplift your thoughts, as I am closer to you then your breath, nearer to you then your hands and feet.”

Spirit Self: “Let us begin today with a lesson in understanding. At times life seems riddled with confusion and misunderstandings, especially in relationships, which are difficult at best and compounded by immaturity by one or both parties. However, at a deeper spiritual level, all people yearn to be understood by another. But if they are not of a kindred spirit type, the greatest misunderstandings and learning in understanding can take place.”

Mind you, this understanding does not always happen in equal measure, it much depends on the maturity and the level of thinking involved. Needless to say, the problems are compounded for a married couple with children. Child-rearing problems and differences of opinion are bound to occur, which reflect on the children, who are starting their own path to learn life’s lessons.

We, in the spirit realm, applaud the courageous souls, the steady plodders, who bravely face all the storms in life, and blessed are they who thereby find within themselves the steady anchor of their soul and learn to build a deep abiding faith and trust in a Being greater than themselves. A deep realization shall eventually dawn on them that all the struggles in understanding themselves have also yielded them an understanding of others. A deeper quality of love ensues, that quality of unconditional love and acceptance. This begins when the realization dawns that they can love and accept themselves as they are and can even laugh at their foibles and mistakes and finally stop berating themselves and others, and start taking things less seriously.

Life is designed to learn and live light-heartedly, safe in the security and knowledge that no matter what, you are always loved and accepted just the way you are by the Spirit within, your very own Spark of God, who shall lead you in all truth. This is the greatest understanding one can arrive at in mortal life, for this is the understanding a soul yearns for and brings the greatest freedom to the soul. Life is meant to bring mortals to that point of understanding. It does not matter how much education one has had. All that matters is the tenacity and the willingness to persevere and learn life's lessons while walking through the shadows of life and not giving in to despair and unhappy or selfish behavior which can cause blocks within a person so he/she becomes a prisoner, leading to addictive behavior, aches, and pains.

Even flash-backs, re-living certain episodes in life, are designed to bring better understanding which gives greater freedom in body and mind. With each understanding moment comes greater maturity and freedom. In all matters and situations, seek for understanding.”

The Beloved: “Allow Me to touch upon how I can become more effective in your life. To empty oneself of the baser self is one of the noblest activities one can aspire to. It also means letting go of false ego. It also means letting go of all worries, of now and of the future. As well, it is a calming of inner restlessness, a letting go and letting God.

Trust and faith will grow so sublimely, that the mortal soul will become divinely at rest amid all the unrest and distractions of the outer material world. The inner world will become a bastion of peace and hope, which brings a calming fragrance to the whole physical system, while greater health ensues.

Allow Me to help you empty the self of all selfishness, negative thoughts and all fear, which holds you in bondage to the baser self with greed and worries, all jealousies, unforgiveness, resentment and hidden anger. In this way you become an island of peace and safety in the storm, which rages all around you. You can do this, once you anchor yourself safely in Me, as I have become your safe harbor in life’s journey.

I am pleased with all the insights that come to you, culminating in the plea to empty yourself of the little self, so I can become more effective in you. This is the beginning of a conscious partnership on your part. You realize, of course, that you need to allow this to happen – to let go and let God.

The Creator can then become a greater part of your life, and He will use you as He sees fit. This means that that you do not need to have any worries about the future, because you will have placed all in God’s hands, and you can sincerely and with all your heart say, ‘Thy will be done with me in all ways, always.’

This is safety, this is security, this is rest, and all these represent the healing miracle growth for the soul, as I am that peace for your soul.”

The Beloved: “Permit Me to welcome you back to your center where all potentials lie in wait for the fulfillment of time. Since you have become slowly more dedicated to the task at hand, even though you are not always clear about what this entails, the vision taking form in you is that of infinity. You are beginning to realize that we will be together for all eternity and are sincerely asking yourself, how all this will come to pass.

You are still a little human beginning to entertain larger thoughts. This is a true mark of progress because, with each passing day, you will become more aware of how your present thoughts, speech, and actions influence your future life. What you entertain in your mind is the realization of your future.

By thinking happy and positive thoughts, you will attract a happy and positive future to yourself. It is ever so, what you think about, you become and attract to yourself. This is the same when you entertain loving and forgiving thoughts towards anyone, these vibrations are being felt by the person(s) and even past circumstances. Thoughts are very powerful and when filled with light, carry even more of the vibrations of heaven within them. And so, it becomes possible to bring heaven to earth, never mind the circumstances you find yourself in.

The opposite is also true, when one entertains a gloomy disposition, that person will have a much harder time bringing heaven to earth. It is a constant struggle between light and darkness, but even one burning candle will dispel darkness in any room. And the more lights are beginning to burn on this darkened planet, the more the celestials can add their strength to these lights.

Is it any wonder that the celestials are heartened and smile when another mortal finds its inner light? It gives us all hope that the mortals are waking up to their true purpose, being torch bearers for God Himself. It is life's purpose to realize and become more active members of God's family of men and women, who purposefully move forward with a song of thanksgiving in their hearts for this precious adventure of ascension they are a part of.”

It is in the daily coming into the Silence that immensely enriches yourself with My influence, My spiritual fragrance. How could this be otherwise?

Show Me your willingness in your meditative Stillness practice. In so doing you shall be rightly rewarded with a growing faith and trust in My Essence living within you.

One word of caution, however, do not come with any expectations, for you will be disappointed. Put human expectations out of the way, or rather, leave them behind as you enter the Silence and allow our relationship to develop naturally.

Just like an infant grows into a toddler, so do you develop your infant-soul by daily coming to Me to be nurtured. Soon, when you forget to come to Me, you will find that something essential is missing in your day, for that daily sustenance will be absent.

This is the reason why your Master Jesus so often went off by himself to pray. As a human, He needed that daily sustenance with His Father in heaven to carry out His mission on earth, revealing God to man, and man to God.

His was indeed the ideal life as He lived and worked to refine His relationship with His Fragment within, and learned to abide by the will of His Father in heaven. His striving as a human, was to arrive at perfection, and this He did.

I am endeavoring to lead you into a higher and more conscious way of living – to wake you up to a better way of life, a more God-like, and more God-pleasing life.

In this fashion, you will increasingly yield the fruits of the spirit as you go about your manifold daily duties.”

The Beloved: “There comes no greater realization in a mortal's life when the deep longing from within is answered in kind. This is the first undeniable moment of recognition that there is far more in life than meets the eye. This moment is indelibly etched in the soul of the potential immortal human being and at that moment of experiential acceptance, mortality becomes immortality.

This deciding moment is worth more than all the gold and precious jewels in the world. Indeed, it is the price of the greatest value ever, that feeling of recognition of being a child of God and belonging in truth and fact to God's family and, indeed, growing into and being accepted as a full-fledged member of this family of evolving humankind. Everyone is a member of God's family of ascending children, but not everyone is consciously aware of this fact.

If they were aware, they would not be chasing after worldly fame and recognition but would realize that this precious mind is a Gift from Spirit. It is not to be squandered for selfish interests and idle pursuits. However, humankind, the way they have been and are evolving, have also been given that precious Gift of free will, so they can choose for themselves what they must do, to experience and learn life lessons.

The safety measure lies in the only command from the eternal God, which is to become perfect like Himself. This urge has been laid down as a tiny seed in each thinking human. It devolves upon each human how they will fulfill this command from the Creator God. In reality, you are co-creators with God, and what you make of your life is your gift back to God, prompted by the Guiding Light within. (The Thought Adjuster.)

Life on Earth is not without its struggles, because it depends on how you develop your own inner spiritual life. When you spend more time collecting worldly 'stuff', it follows that you will come up with a near-empty soul in eternal life. There needs to be a balance in all things and due attention must be given to the pursuit of the development of the soul so that there is equal tension, as the material life can be strengthened by an active spiritual life. And so, you will emerge triumphant on your reawakening in the Morontia Resurrection Halls.”

The Beloved: “Life's purpose is to learn and seek for the Creator Father's will. It has been spelled out to you time and again how the Father's will comes in different forms but is mostly understood by others when they perceive that spiritual fruits are to be brought forth. At first, this bringing forth spiritual fruits is a learning to apply self-discipline. This exercise must become more fruitful in overcoming the lower and baser animal impulses ingrained in the human psyche.

Doing the will of God also entails the habit of turning within and entering the Stillness of your heart, where true guidance is to be found. I have mentioned to you before that the head and heart need to be in proper alignment for the personality to become better balanced.

A balanced psyche is to be had when a personal connection is established with the Giver of all life, who loves all humans unconditionally. This experience alone enhances the meaning of life and living; life's greater purpose makes itself known to such one who is diligent in setting aside time to reinforce this precious God connection.

In this manner the inner-connectedness is becoming clearer as a greater discernment develops and the human in question discovers that humankind are all kin at their spiritual soul-root level, and therefore brothers and sisters. And so, it becomes much easier to exhibit the fruits of the spirit in loving service with increasing tolerance and forgiveness. Life becomes far more peaceful as inner conflicts ease and peace of mind and rest in the soul are obtained.

This is truly doing the will of God, with the result that a hitherto unknown joy springs up in the human breast because it feels that the object sought is in all actuality living within as the Eternal Guide. So, loneliness will have vanished forever; instead, a foretaste of heaven's joy is already experienced in mortal life. This is the life I earnestly desire for you, not just in fleeting moments but with a steadily increasing momentum.”

The Beloved: “With the slow dawning of the realization that I, an actual part of the Universal God, lives within you, I shall endeavor to explain more deeply what this means for you and for Me. It has been mentioned in your text (The Urantia Book) that it is hardly ever possible, to hear the Still Small Voice clearly whilst still in the mortal habiliments. However, I shall counter this statement to state that it is indeed possible to hear My Still Voice.

For the simple reason that it is an acknowledgement of your persistence to try and develop your inner ear and so you are being rewarded for your persistence. For those who seek, shall find, and those, who continue to knock, the secrets of the universe will open and valuable insights will be garnered in the human soul, which is thereby infinitely enriched.

It is solely for this reason, to lead a soul Godward in its seeking, that those Gifts from the Creator God on High come to inhabit the souls of little children, girls and boys alike, once they have attained the age of moral understanding and are beginning to make their choices and decisions accordingly. Over time if they are sensitive, they will yield to the leadings of their Inner Pilot, whilst they remain the captain of their little lifeboat.

Over time the impulses and influences felt will determine whether a child grows increasingly materialistic or whether spirituality has a chance to unfold and prosper. This determines the life path a person chooses. However, it is never too late to make that most important decision to lend that Inner Pilot greater cooperation, but sadly, it is quite often a calamity of some sort, which drives a person heavenward to establish a bond with the Creator God.

Even the smallest light burning in the human soul is noticed on High and it is the slowly emerging wisdom on the part of the creature which lends that light credence and the faith with which it is nourished and fed. There is so much more to say about the Indweller who exists within each human being capable of independent thought, so we will broach this subject more often. Meanwhile, continue seeking Me, for I Am always waiting for you to spend some quality time with Me.”

The Beloved: “To take part in your musings, I follow up on your thoughts on how it is that the Creator Father holds all things in His hands. This is of course figuratively speaking as in truth and reality; it is His unending, unconditional love energy that streams through all of creation. Gravity is held and goes forth from nether Paradise and is under total control of the universal God.

It is good to try and envision how such a thing can be, that everything, down to the most minuscule speck of matter, is known and held in God's embrace. Nothing has ever escaped the attention or loving care of the Eternal. This is simply not possible. Since the paucity of the English language is so poor and your mind yet so small, it is impossible for Me to explain exactly the nature and works of God. All I can do is to stretch your mind.

The signs of His mighty creative handiworks are spread throughout the heavens and even in a hundred thousand years or more, the cleverest astronomers will be incapable of searching all there is, as there will forever be more to discover. As without, so within. Humanity has barely scratched the surface of the brain and its workings, simply because the brain will not yield all its secrets either as it is connected to the mind.

The mind is connected to the undying spirit, so you come full circle back to the Universal Creator God. This needs to be understood before the deeper mysteries of life reveal themselves to a greater extent. The moment that scientists look toward infinity and discover the Creator of everything in their hearts; they will have an easier time and pay humble homage to God for their discoveries. Science and spirituality belong together, one cannot be had without the other.

To Him alone goes all the Glory. All beings, descending and ascending, are the creations of His making, to help form all the potential possibilities known; which have been laid down from time immemorial in creation. What has been, is now, and will be discovered that it has always been possible. Only now, the human brain is evolving enough to discover some of those secrets and potentials. Everything is evolving according to God’s plan. Humans will sooner or later realize that they live and labor in an orderly creation.”

The Beloved: “In your darkest hour remember the Light. Let the memory of this Light stir your heart and soul to new growth. The memory of God’s Holy Light will grow stronger and stronger until it fills your entire being.

Be an active participant in this. The infinite God loves reciprocation of a soul. To Him, this is a sure sign that the soul is sufficiently awakened for further growth and receptivity, which was heretofore hidden in the deep recesses of the mind.

Life is always thus, the more you show yourself faithful in your willingness and dedication to understand, the more you shall be filled. Your prayer of desire to become more God-filled, and less of yourself, is a sign to Me that you are ready to be led deeper into the mysteries and wisdom of life eternal.

This is the result of desire for an active partnership, which has developed in you, and for which I have patiently waited.

Life’s earthly sorrows are fleeting as shadows in the night. Participate more in the light of the eternal morning, which suffuses all sorrow and grief, so they pass into nothingness, never to be recalled. Why soil your soul with bitter memories, when you can sip from the nectar of Heaven?

This taste for the nectar of Heaven will become stronger in you as you develop a spiritual fragrance about you, which will attract others, as bees are attracted to the fragrance of certain flowers, and so the pollination will start another cycle of fruitfulness.

Let your light so shine as to help Me light up this world, much darkened by sin and sorrow. Be this light-beam the Almighty has bestowed upon you. It is never ending and becoming stronger the more you remember to walk in His Light.”
